Easiest Way:

  • Disconnect 1/4" line to nozzles from pump by unscrewing brass nut (1/2" wrench)
  • Remove return line from drum (if installed)
  • Pick up entire pump, motor, timer assembly with PVC circle and suction line; store in a warm place for the winter

Easy Way:

  • Disconnect 1/4" line to nozzles from pump by unscrewing brass nut (1/2" wrench)
  • Disconnect the two 3/8" lines from drum by unscrewing the two brass nuts (5/8" wrench)
  • Loosen the silver clamp that holds the brass pump onto the front of the electric motor (use a nut driver or screwdriver)
  • Remove pump assembly from motor and store in warm place for the winter
  • Remove intake filter from solution. Tie it up out of the solution or unscrew and keep with pump

Another Way:

  • Buy a gallon of non-toxic antifreeze (for RV water systems, pink in color), more for larger systems
  • Pour into a bucket
  • Slide top of system off drum and place suction line & return line (short one) into the bucket of antifreeze. If you do not put the short line into the bucket, you will get wet!
  • Open return line if installed
  • Turn on system and fill with antifreeze. If you have a return line run until pink liquid comes out
  • Close return line
  • Remove intake filter from solution. Tie it up out of the solution or remove
